How long is the raw material kept?<\/p>\n

With us, five years. A supplier who delivers the finished film and deletes the rest makes any later re-use impossible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Why the Number of Cameras Determines the Price<\/h2>\n

The main cost factor in event filmmaking is the number of cameras<\/strong>, not the length of the finished film. An event cannot be repeated: What a second camera didn’t capture simply doesn’t exist. <\/p>\n

For stage events featuring speeches, award ceremonies, or panel discussions, a second camera angle is therefore necessary so that the footage can be edited later.<\/p>\n

Trade fair film: stand operation and interviews<\/h3>\n

On an exhibition ground you work against the conditions. The halls are loud, the light is mixed, and the neighbouring stand is still being built while your first conversation is already running. We bring our own lighting and wireless audio so that interviews at the stand stay intelligible.<\/p>\n

Filming permits on the grounds of Messe Frankfurt need lead time. We obtain them and the fees are part of the package price.<\/p>\n

One day at a trade fair rarely produces only one film. The usual outcome is a trade fair report for the website and short formats for LinkedIn, plus footage that reappears in next year\u2019s stand communication.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Congress and conference film: keynotes, panels and the breaks<\/h3>\n

With stage programmes the number of cameras decides whether the film can be edited at all. One camera on the wide shot delivers a recording. Two deliver a film. With panels, speaker changes do not work in the edit without a second angle.<\/p>\n

The breaks are underestimated. For many organisers the conversations between the blocks are the actual value of the congress, and they cannot be staged afterwards.<\/p>\n

If the event is also to run live, a separate vision mixing setup comes in and the line is checked in advance. We plan that as an extension and not as an add-on on the shooting day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Aftermovie: 72 hours after the closing words<\/h3>\n

An aftermovie has an expiry date. Anyone who sends it out three weeks later reaches people who have long since filed the event away. That is why we deliver it within 72 hours on request, edited during the night after the event.<\/p>\n

This only works if it is agreed beforehand. The edit suite has to be blocked, and the shoot runs differently when everyone knows from the start that editing begins the next morning.<\/p>\n

The detailed main film follows after seven days as usual. Social cuts in vertical and square format come from the same material but are taken into account during the shoot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Trade show appearances have their own set of rules. The halls are noisy, the lighting is inconsistent, and filming permits on the Messe Frankfurt grounds require advance planning.
