What 3D visualisation costs<\/h2>\n

The range runs from 1,500 to over 30,000 euros. Length is not the driver. What matters is how much has to be modelled and how photorealistic the result needs to be. All prices excluding VAT, including modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing.<\/p>\n

The biggest cost factor is the data you start from. With usable CAD data, modelling falls away, and modelling is usually the single most expensive step. Without it, the object has to be rebuilt from photos or drawings. Check what construction data exists internally before you ask for a quote. Where 3D pays off<\/h2>\n

An exploded view takes an object apart into its components. In 3D that becomes movement, and suddenly someone without technical training understands how the thing works.<\/p>\n

It also shows things that do not exist yet: a product before series production, a building before ground is broken, a process inside a machine no camera can reach.<\/p>\n

And 3D ages more slowly than live action. No clothing, no hairstyles, no people who leave the company. A well built model can be reused years later for a new video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

How a 3D animation is made<\/h2>\n

Eight steps. The most time consuming is not the animation, it is the model.<\/p>\n

Briefing and data check<\/p>\n

We agree what has to be shown and review your construction data. What exists here decides the largest cost block.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

02<\/p>\n

Style and scribbles<\/p>\n

Fix the visual language, sketch the key frames, usually by hand. Building starts only once that is settled.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

03<\/p>\n

Modelling<\/p>\n

The object is built in 3D software, from your CAD data or from scratch. This is where most of the effort sits.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

04<\/p>\n

Texture and material<\/p>\n

Surfaces get properties: metal, plastic, glass, paint. Only then does a model read as a real component.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

05<\/p>\n

Light and camera<\/p>\n

Virtual lighting and camera work. This step decides the impression more than any extra polish on the model.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

06<\/p>\n

Animation<\/p>\n

Movement of object and camera. A functional sequence becomes something you understand rather than just watch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

07<\/p>\n

Rendering<\/p>\n

Frames are computed. A 15-second HD piece can need up to seven days of render time, elaborate simulations considerably longer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Compositing and finishing<\/p>\n
