The biggest cost driver in editing is unsorted footage. Handing over shooting days without notes means paying for the review as well. A simple list of the best takes often saves half an edit day.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Also for footage we did not shoot<\/h2>\n

Many companies have footage on a hard drive that never became a film: trade show material, interviews, drone flights, phone video from the summer party. There is usually more in it than anyone expects.<\/p>\n

We take on post production even when we were not on the shoot. What we need is the original footage rather than exported versions, plus separately recorded audio if it exists.<\/p>\n

We work the same way for other production companies and agencies who need capacity. Colour, motion graphics and the mix we prefer to keep in house, because that is where the quality is decided.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
