A professional event video costs between 1,490 and 25,000 euros (net) in Frankfurt. Basic coverage of one full shooting day starts at 1,490 euros. The most common option works with two cameras and delivers a main film plus a social media clip, which starts at 3,500 euros. An aftermovie featuring two to three cameras and interviews starts at 6,000 euros. Conferences with a multi-camera setup and livestream start at 12,000 euros.

With us, travel within the Rhine-Main region is part of the fixed price. Charged separately, it can add a three figure amount to a single shooting day.
Are camera, lighting and sound part of the price?
We shoot with our own equipment and it is inside the package price. Suppliers without their own kit hire it in and pass the rental on.
How many operators are behind the cameras?
Ask about people, not devices. A second camera nobody operates gives you one locked-off shot, not a second perspective.
Who obtains the filming permits?
We obtain permits for exhibition grounds, congress centres and public spaces ourselves, and the fees are included in the package price.
How long is the raw material kept?
With us, five years. A supplier who delivers the finished film and deletes the rest makes any later re-use impossible.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
Get the number in writing. Otherwise every further round becomes a line item that only appears on the final invoice.
Are music and usage rights cleared?
And for which channels and which period. A licence that covers your own website does not cover paid advertising.
Which versions and formats are included?
Main film, vertical and square, subtitles, shorter cuts: what is in the price and what each further version costs belongs in the quote.
What happens if the date moves or the event is cancelled?
With us, cancellation is free of charge up to ten days before the date, after that 50 per cent applies, and from 48 hours before the shoot the full amount. Moving the date within six months costs nothing extra.
Who carries the cost of putting things right?
Agree in advance who pays if sound, lighting or the edit does not match what was agreed.

The main cost factor in event filmmaking is the number of cameras, not the length of the finished film. An event cannot be repeated: What a second camera didn’t capture simply doesn’t exist.
For stage events featuring speeches, award ceremonies, or panel discussions, a second camera angle is therefore necessary so that the footage can be edited later.
The second factor is the turnaround time. An aftermovie that goes online 72 hours after the event is edited the night after the event. This can be planned; it just needs to be agreed upon in advance.
Not every event needs the same film. The difference lies less in the occasion than in the question of who sees the result and when.

On an exhibition ground you work against the conditions. The halls are loud, the light is mixed, and the neighbouring stand is still being built while your first conversation is already running. We bring our own lighting and wireless audio so that interviews at the stand stay intelligible.
Filming permits on the grounds of Messe Frankfurt need lead time. We obtain them and the fees are part of the package price.
One day at a trade fair rarely produces only one film. The usual outcome is a trade fair report for the website and short formats for LinkedIn, plus footage that reappears in next year’s stand communication.
With stage programmes the number of cameras decides whether the film can be edited at all. One camera on the wide shot delivers a recording. Two deliver a film. With panels, speaker changes do not work in the edit without a second angle.
The breaks are underestimated. For many organisers the conversations between the blocks are the actual value of the congress, and they cannot be staged afterwards.
If the event is also to run live, a separate vision mixing setup comes in and the line is checked in advance. We plan that as an extension and not as an add-on on the shooting day.
An aftermovie has an expiry date. Anyone who sends it out three weeks later reaches people who have long since filed the event away. That is why we deliver it within 72 hours on request, edited during the night after the event.
This only works if it is agreed beforehand. The edit suite has to be blocked, and the shoot runs differently when everyone knows from the start that editing begins the next morning.
The detailed main film follows after seven days as usual. Social cuts in vertical and square format come from the same material but are taken into account during the shoot.
Trade show appearances have their own set of rules. The halls are noisy, the lighting is inconsistent, and filming permits on the Messe Frankfurt grounds require advance planning. We’re familiar with the procedures and bring our own lighting and wireless systems so that interviews at the booth remain clear even when setup is taking place right next door.

Ten days is the normal case. That leaves time for the running order, the filming permit and a technical check beforehand. Shorter notice works if the day is free.
Free of charge up to ten days before the shooting day. After that we charge half, and from 48 hours before the start the full amount. Moving the date is different from cancelling: a replacement date within six months costs no extra, provided it is free with us.
