What a recruitment video costs

Three things drive the price: how many shooting days are needed, how many people go on camera and how many versions you need at the end. All prices excluding VAT.

Package Scope Price excl. VAT
Starter 90 to 120 seconds, one shooting day, one site, three to five interviews, two formats from 4,000 €
Employer brand two to three minutes, two shooting days, several sites, eight to twelve interviews, aerial footage, five social cuts from 7,500 €
Campaign main film plus ten to fifteen short versions, three or more shooting days, several sites, animation, multiple languages from 15,000 €
The step up from Starter to Employer Brand does not cost more because the camera gets better. It costs more because a second shooting day is added and more people are interviewed. Showing every department takes time on site, not more equipment.

Why a job advert alone is no longer enough

A job advert describes tasks. It does not answer the question candidates actually care about: what is it like to work there? Who are the colleagues, how do people talk to each other, what does the workplace look like?

A recruitment video answers exactly that in ninety seconds. It also filters: anyone who sees how you work and still applies is more likely to fit. That saves interviews that were never going anywhere.

Authenticity is what makes it work. Employees who volunteer in front of the camera carry the film. Actors and stock footage are spotted immediately and do more harm than good.

What belongs in a good recruitment video

Six things decide whether a candidate watches to the end.

What regularly fails: only the management team on camera, purchased stock footage, and films longer than two minutes without a discernible arc.
Others report the same. In the German HR magazine Personalwirtschaft (F.A.Z. Business Media, 3 February 2026), Luisa Klingen, responsible for employer branding and recruiting at Metro, says the quality of applications improved in part through video job ads, because candidates get more specific and more authentic insight into the role.

How a recruitment shoot runs

Four steps, from the first conversation to the finished cut.

01

Consultation

We look at your company from the outside: which roles are open, who the audience is and what actually sets you apart.

02

Casting and interview guide

Together we pick the employees who go on camera. We write an interview guide so nobody has to memorise a script.

03

Shooting day

We film where the work happens. No studio, no actors. We conduct the interviews ourselves so the answers stay natural.

04

Edit and versions

Main film, vertical short cuts and a teaser for ads. One round of revisions is included.

Frequently asked questions

Do our employees have to appear on camera?

Yes, and that is exactly what makes the film credible. We work with volunteers, run the interviews ourselves and film in familiar surroundings. Anyone who does not want to appear does not have to.

What if someone leaves the company?

That is why we record several interviews rather than one. Individual statements can be swapped out later without reproducing the whole film.

How long should the film be?

90 to 180 seconds for the careers page, 15 to 30 seconds for social media. Both come out of a single shooting day, which is the point of the modular approach.

Can we use one film for several roles?

Yes. A film about the culture of the company works for every open role. Short add-on clips cover individual departments and are quick to reshoot.

How long does production take?

Four to six weeks from approval to delivery, depending on the number of shooting days and review rounds.

Do you shoot outside the Rhine-Main region?

Yes. We have bases in Wiesbaden, Berlin and Dortmund and shoot across Germany. Travel and accommodation are quoted transparently.
