The studio day is the base price. What follows depends on how elaborate the virtual background is. All prices excluding VAT.

A cyclorama is the transition between wall and floor without a visible edge. It is the reason a person appears to float in the frame rather than stand in front of a green wall. Without it, every extraction becomes laborious.
The economic advantage lies in repeatability. If you regularly need videos with the same look, you shoot several topics in one day and place them into different environments later. That is the core of any content package.
For a single film set in a real location it rarely pays off. Then we would rather travel there. Virtual production is a tool, not a doctrine.

Four steps, from preparation to delivery.

Preparation
We agree which backgrounds are needed and whether they come from photos, video or 3D. That decides lighting and camera work.

Lighting
Green screen needs two separate lighting setups, one for the wall and one for the person. Only then does the edge stay clean.

Shoot
Several topics in one day is normal. A teleprompter is ready, wardrobe changes and make-up are scheduled.

Compositing
Extraction, background placement, colour matching. Then editing, sound and delivery in every format.
Can we rent the studio without a crew?
Yes. The studio can be booked on its own, with or without equipment. See rental studio Wiesbaden.
What about green clothing?
Green or highly reflective clothing disappears during extraction. We send a short wardrobe list before the shooting day.
How many topics fit into one day?
With a good script and practised presenters, six to ten short pieces. Without preparation, considerably fewer.
Could you use an LED wall instead?
For projects with the budget for it we work with partners running LED volumes. For most corporate videos green screen is the more economical route.
